Do you have a friend in your life who is always smiling?  Even when I’m not with Delaine, I think of her with a big smile on her face. She truly radiates joy!  I feel so blessed to have her in my life not only for myself, but she also has three wonderful boys who my boys love to spend time with.  If this tells you anything, Ethan’s first “overnighter” (other than with Grandma & Grandpa) was at Delaine’s.  Two days later, he wasn’t even ready to come home! :) Recently, Delaine asked me to take pictures of her labradoodle puppies for her website.  So, this past Tuesday, she arrived with seven precious puppies.  I had absolutely no idea what is takes to chase puppies around to get a decent picture. I thought “oh, it can’t be much more difficult than chasing around a two year old”.  Well, I was wrong. . .they were running everywhere. . .tails wagging, playing with each other, etc.   Half the time I would think I got a good shot only to realize that they were running so fast that the only thing in focus was the tail.  Anyway, my favorite shots of the day are with Delaine and her precious puppies.  It captures who Delaine is and the joy she gives to everyone who surrounds her.  I’m so thankful to have her in my life.
