Happy Monday, friends! It’s been a little too long since I’ve blogged regularly, but that’s because I’ve been out taking photos and I’m finally back in the office (for a few days…before it’s off to another adventure!!) after a busy month of traveling, sessions, and adjusting to being a working mama of a two month old!! (how did that happen so fast!?)

All that aside, I can’t believe it’s been several years since I photographed Nick + Melanie’s wedding!! It took a couple months and rescheduling and planning to get a family photo session on the calendar, and after a couple cancellations due to weather, we finally made an afternoon happen!! We beat the rain and the fall colors were showing off big time!! It was absolutely dreamy weather and the light couldn’t have been more perfect!! I say it was worth the wait!!

We met up just outside of beautiful Lake Chelan at Alta Lake State Park, where a little lake is tucked right into the mountains, surrounded by the prettiest scattered trees, and in the fall, it’s one of my favorite places on earth!!

Seeing Nick and Melanie as parents to Kai was absolutely priceless, and I hope you love these images as much as I do!! <3
