Feel free to cozy up with your favorite beverage (if you're like me, then maybe it's an espresso over ice with a splash of cream, or a warm matcha latte if it's cold outside!) and stay awhile. This is my place to share not just beautiful weddings or sessions, but to share my life. My hope is through this, you'll get to know a bit more about me and all the beautiful people that make it worth living!

Making the Switch // the bittersweet change

I’ll be honest. It hasn’t been easy. To make the switch from something that has so many good memories, so many long drives with my mom to weddings, so many Bruno Mars first dances to Just the Way You Are.

So for those of you who don’t know or are just joining, my mom and I photographed our first wedding together in 2010. Whaaaaaat. It feels just like yesterday, and like so long ago all at the same time. From that wedding where we really didn’t know what we were doing but look back on the images and go “wow, we did pretty good” ;), Lifesong Photography was born. It was years of trial and error, clients who trusted and believed in us, and the gift that brought my mom and I closer than anything else. She’s been my biggest cheerleader and best friend, and I was her trusty 2nd shooter who well, has now become the main.

I could write a book on all the things God has done in the last seven years. But really, it’s simple. He’s been writing a story that has been absolutely perfect. It’s been perfect in His timing, because He is perfect in all of His ways. The hard part in that is trusting and waiting and walking faithfully in the unknown, am I right?

Delight and Be was established through my mom’s obedience and faithfulness, and because of her initial love for photography. It’s a nonprofit organization completely founded with the purpose of investing in teen girls and young women who have a passion and love for any aspect of the creative arts, be it photography, writing, graphic design, worship, culinary arts, dance, art, etc. My parents have since built a home and well, sacrificed a huge part of their lives to be an example of what it means to love boundlessly.

So if you haven’t figured it out by now, my mom just didn’t have the time she used to! And for me, I did. Until the cutest little brown eyed, blonde haired baby came along. :) So now, I’m just learning as I go. I’m a wife to my hottie chiropractor husband and a mommy to the spunkiest, sweetest baby girl who is almost ONE! I’m not sure I’ll ever understand how time moves so quickly!

So all that said, seven years, a lot of incredible memories, and still so many new to be made, there’s a bittersweet change happening. Lifesong Photography hasn’t gone away. My mom and I still shoot weddings together. :) It was just time for a name change and rebrand to invite you into my life and why I do what I do.

So without further ado, Emily Moller Photography is live and I couldn’t be MORE excited!!!!! I can’t wait to continue shooting weddings alongside my mom and/or my husband and continue traveling and serving clients from Lake Chelan to Vancouver. I’m so blessed to do what I do, and it’s all because of my incredible couples and families who have invited me into their lives and their stories. Because after all, I do what I do because I believe we all  have a story worth telling. <3

Welcome to the new brand!!!!
