Have you ever met someone and immediately fallen in love with them, before you even know ANYTHING about them!? That’s exactly how it was with Aaron + Shaunte. The best part!? We met AT a wedding. Karl + Brittney’s  wedding in Lake Chelan to be exact. Shaunte was one of Brittney’s bridesmaids and part of her family, and the minute I hugged her, I just knew she was so special. She holds such a dear place in my heart, and when I asked about the dazzling diamond on her hand, she lit up and sparkled just like it! I could not be happier for her and Aaron, and this new season of life they are in!!! I’ve never seen two people more passionate for life, and for each other. The way they look at each other and the way they look at each other at a reception full of people. You’d think they were the only two people there.

 

During sunset at Karl + Brittney’s wedding, the golden hour was a little bit different…instead of sneaking away with the bride and groom (ok, we just did two sets of portraits ;)), these two were up for an adventure, so we walked to the field next to the venue and took advantage of the glorious late-summer sunset!!! But I mean, come on. It may have only been 15 minutes together, but it was the sweetest engagement session I have ever been a part of. Not just because we were celebrating a wedding across the lawn, but I was just beaming with joy for these two!!!

 

Aaron and Shaunte, thank you so much for letting me steal you away for a few minutes and getting to share in your excitement in becoming husband and wife!!! <3 I absolutely cannot wait until your wedding.  I’m pretty darn sure I’m counting it down just as much as you are!!! <3
