Feel free to cozy up with your favorite beverage (if you're like me, then maybe it's an espresso over ice with a splash of cream, or a warm matcha latte if it's cold outside!) and stay awhile. This is my place to share not just beautiful weddings or sessions, but to share my life. My hope is through this, you'll get to know a bit more about me and all the beautiful people that make it worth living!

Unexpected Blessings {Eucharisteo}

Our family has been involved with swim team for the past 11 years. It has been a huge part of our lives as all four of my kids love it. So when we received the news in May that it wouldn’t be good for Emily to have fluctuations in temperature, we realized that swim team might not be an option this summer. I called the coach in tears and told him that we wouldn’t be able to take part this year. . .I felt sick to my stomach as our summers have literally revolved around swim team. A few days later when Emily’s doctor called and told us that swim team would be great for physical therapy, we were thrilled. We had our ups and downs this summer as we weren’t able to commit like we are used to, but Emily was able to compete in a quite a few meets. I don’t know if she even realizes it, but she actually got personal records in almost every event this summer despite her health issues. I am so thankful that we were able to be a part of Methow Valley Killer Whales this summer. . .I love the families involved and our coaches are the best! Being a part of such an amazing group of people has always meant a lot to me, but this year I appreciated it even more.
