Feel free to cozy up with your favorite beverage (if you're like me, then maybe it's an espresso over ice with a splash of cream, or a warm matcha latte if it's cold outside!) and stay awhile. This is my place to share not just beautiful weddings or sessions, but to share my life. My hope is through this, you'll get to know a bit more about me and all the beautiful people that make it worth living!

T.J. // Pateros Senior 2013

Yes, I know I am not a good blogger. . .finding time to sit down, upload pictures and then actually write is a lot of extra time.  So, I’ve decided to give myself some grace and blog when I actually feel like it! :) If you need to know more about the business side of Lifesong Photography, head on over to the website at www.lifesong-photography.com.

I could not miss the opportunity to share TJ on the blog. . .he is a very special young man in our lives.  I think I met TJ exactly 10 years ago. . .so he would have been around 7 1/2 at the time.  When his sweet mom asked me when the best time for senior pictures would be, I was seriously like “no way. . .TJ can’t be a senior already!”  How and when did that happen?  :)

TJ and I had a blast at his session!  And as I was looking through the lens, I was a bit teary as I realized that TJ is grown up.  I remember being in the car listening to him sing every single word of Crazy Frog when he was in his early teens. . .now he is a volunteer firefighter and also planning on going into the Army to serve our country.  I couldn’t be prouder of him! I am so excited to see what God has in store for TJ’s life and to watch his Lifesong unfold.

Jeremiah 17:8–“He is like a tree planted by water, that sends out its roots by the stream, and does not fear when heat comes, for its leaves remain green, and is not anxious in the year of drought, for it does not cease to bear fruit.”
