Remember last Monday’s post featuring Out on a Whim? Well now you get to meet the face (and family!) behind that incredible vision. Kara and her family just bless me every day. Really. Even when we’re not in communication or seeing each other regularly, her vision and heart to bring fairy tales to life and create incredible interior spaces is the biggest inspiration to me. I really don’t remember the first time I met the Velazquez family, because I was still a tot crawling around in diapers. But now, it’s such a joy to work alongside Kara’s daughter, Megan on wedding days (she’s the most fabulous hair/makeup artist at Tousled! ) and seeing her grow as a momma to her son, Duncan. It’s just precious. Their family is so special and has so much love.

Thank you for letting me join your family for the afternoon and sneak a few photos of you all together!
