Feel free to cozy up with your favorite beverage (if you're like me, then maybe it's an espresso over ice with a splash of cream, or a warm matcha latte if it's cold outside!) and stay awhile. This is my place to share not just beautiful weddings or sessions, but to share my life. My hope is through this, you'll get to know a bit more about me and all the beautiful people that make it worth living!
I first met David and Julie last spring when they celebrated their wedding in Lake Chelan at Karma Vineyards. Ahh, it was one of my favorite weddings of 2016! I’m not sure if it was because of the trolley ride up to the vineyard to share toasts with family and friends, or their wine cellar reception with live music. Actually, I’m pretty sure it’s just because of who David and Julie are. They are some of the kindest people you will ever meet, and they draw people to them who are so full of life and joy!!!
When I found out last fall that Julie was expecting a little girl, I was absolutely ecstatic! I was just several months into this whole “mom” thing, and I was SO excited to be sharing the excitement of motherhood with one of my brides!!! David and Julie welcomed baby Mackenzie into their lives late February, and we got together over the weekend in one of their favorite places on earth – Lake Chelan, to capture just a peek into Mackenzie’s first trip to central Washington. She’s already such a little delight and joy and it was SO special to see David and Julie as PARENTS!
Baby Mackenzie made my little girl look absolutely everything but little, and they’re only six months apart! It’s crazy how fast time goes, but capturing their precious family reminded me just how much I love what I do, and how special it is to document this new season of life!
Congratulations, David & Julie! Your baby girl is such a beauty, and I know she’s going to take after both of you as an athlete with those long fingers and toes! ;)
These pics are INCREDIBLE!!! Especially love all the black and white pics, they are so timeless! What a beautiful family!
