Feel free to cozy up with your favorite beverage (if you're like me, then maybe it's an espresso over ice with a splash of cream, or a warm matcha latte if it's cold outside!) and stay awhile. This is my place to share not just beautiful weddings or sessions, but to share my life. My hope is through this, you'll get to know a bit more about me and all the beautiful people that make it worth living!
Dear Sarah,
When you contacted me about taking pictures at the birth of your upcoming baby, I was beyond ecstatic. To me, there is no greater honor than to be asked to capture a baby taking his/her first breath & entering the world. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to make it to precious Celeste’s birth. But, I am so thankful to have been able to document some special memories of Celeste and your adoring precious boys when she arrived home. Jacob, Ethan and Finn are seriously some of the sweetest and cutest big brothers ever. I remember taking maternity pictures when Finn was in your womb. . .so to see him loving on Celeste was such a joy for me! Thank you for allowing me to come into your home and share the joy of Celeste’s arrival. She is so blessed to call you her parents.
I know how challenging life can be at times with four children. . .I have been there. :) One piece of advice from one photographer momma to another. . .take pictures of your own children and everyday details. I look back and wish I would have captured everyday life. Things like what books they were reading, what kinds of cereal they liked, sitting with their daddy having devotions, and on and on. Little details are so often overlooked and yet, they are so important. I hope you enjoy these images we captured when Celeste was a couple days old. I can imagine how fun it will be to look back years from now when she is older and can see how much her brothers adored her. Love you guys and so thankful to have had this opportunity to share with you!
Blessings, Kristin
