Feel free to cozy up with your favorite beverage (if you're like me, then maybe it's an espresso over ice with a splash of cream, or a warm matcha latte if it's cold outside!) and stay awhile. This is my place to share not just beautiful weddings or sessions, but to share my life. My hope is through this, you'll get to know a bit more about me and all the beautiful people that make it worth living!

Little Things {Eucharisteo}

Today I am thankful for the little things.  Last Friday afternoon, we all started feeling really hot and realized that the air conditioning had quit sometime earlier in the day.  It was in the high 90’s outside and almost that hot inside.  We were miserable and realized how much we truly appreciate something we use on a daily basis, but obviously take for granted most of the time. Of course, it was a Friday afternoon at 4:00 and most everyone was closed for the weekend. I called and the answering service said they would get back to us sometime on Saturday, but the rates would be double.  I actually took a few seconds with two of my boys and prayed that God would fix is sooner than later and that it wouldn’t cost very much.  Sometimes I forget to remember to pray about the small things in life.  Well, a few minutes later, I got a call from one of the men who works for the company I had called.  We live 45 minutes away, but he just happened to be in our area and could stop by to see what the problem was.  He didn’t have his truck with him, so he didn’t think he’d have the parts.  Well, he was there five minutes later and was able to fix it in a few minutes!  God answered my prayers above and beyond what I had even anticipated! It was a very quick and inexpensive fix that made our weekend so much more enjoyable.  I won’t take air conditioning for granted any longer.  I also need to remember to stop and pray even for the little things that come up in life.  It’s easy to remember the big things!  A mighty God that we serve who can create such tiny minute details as this intricate flower cares about the details of our lives. It is a staggering thought!
