Feel free to cozy up with your favorite beverage (if you're like me, then maybe it's an espresso over ice with a splash of cream, or a warm matcha latte if it's cold outside!) and stay awhile. This is my place to share not just beautiful weddings or sessions, but to share my life. My hope is through this, you'll get to know a bit more about me and all the beautiful people that make it worth living!
Back in December, I received an e-mail from Stephanie’s sweet mom asking me about the possibility of meeting to discuss the future wedding of Joe and Stephanie. We met on a cold winter day in December at my house and got to know each other while eating tea and scones. Joe and Stephanie were on winter break from Whitworth and were in the beginning stages of planning their wedding. I immediately fell in love with their family! When I get an e-mail or phone call from a future bride, I don’t just say “yes”. I want to connect with the bride and feel a peace about being part of their special day. I spend time praying and want to know that I am the one who is supposed to be capturing their special moments. The photographer is with the bride more than any other person during the day, so it is so important to “connect”. I knew that I was meant to do Stephanie and Joe’s wedding. I looked forward to it from the moment we met back in December. I enjoyed every minute of their big day this past Saturday (minus the mosquito bites!). Thank you, Stephanie and Joe for not only sharing your special day with me, but for your new friendship.
Wow! These images are absolutely gorgeous… and what a beautiful couple! :)
