It’s not every day that you get married, and it’s also not every day that there’s literally the perfect romantic haze in the sky. Okay, well maybe the past few summers in Lake Chelan have been full of smoke from local fires. It may not have been Eric and Kaiti’s ideal weather situation, but I woke up the morning of their wedding thrilled that there was a filter over the sun to block both the triple digit temps and provide the dreamiest golden glow all day long!

I fell in love with these two from the first email Kaiti sent me detailing all of her wedding dreams. I just knew I wanted to be a part of their lives and watch their day unfold!! When we met earlier this summer for their engagement session on the lake, I started counting down the days until their wedding!!! She would text me occasionally to tell me more details and I kept getting more and more excited!! She’d fill me in on things like how the dried flowers were coming along and how she couldn’t wait for their authentic taco dinner. What she didn’t know was taking place on the wedding day were things like her sisters putting together a song that had the entire crowd laughing, and what Eric didn’t know were things like the gorgeous engraved Blue Nile gold wedding band that Kaiti surprised him with during the ceremony.

From beginning to end, their August wedding was full of romance and detail, right down to the perfectly decorated tables with their navy and gold accents, and Kaiti’s sparkly Kate Spade earrings. She looked gorgeous the entire day, but that’s easy because she’s just beautiful inside and out. Eric and her are absolutely meant for each other. They make each other come alive in a way I’ve never seen in a couple. He brings out her contagious laugh that everyone will tell you about, and it’s true. She makes the entire room light up with joy when she’s around. And even when she’s not and you hear people talking about Kaiti, you can’t help but smile. She’s just joy in the truest form. And she brings him a joy that is unstoppable.

Eric and Kaiti, you two are incredible. I am so thankful to have been a part of your day and become a part of your family for the day. Thank you for giving me the greatest honor and privilege in being there and watching you say I do. Ugh, you’ll have to scroll to see the images from their ceremony, some of my favorite ever!!! Your wedding will forever be tucked in my heart as an unforgettable day. Congratulations, Mr. & Mrs. Carlstrom!!! You’re maaaaaarrrried!!! <3
