Feel free to cozy up with your favorite beverage (if you're like me, then maybe it's an espresso over ice with a splash of cream, or a warm matcha latte if it's cold outside!) and stay awhile. This is my place to share not just beautiful weddings or sessions, but to share my life. My hope is through this, you'll get to know a bit more about me and all the beautiful people that make it worth living!
I can’t remember the exact times I met these two, but I remember it was long before they ever were dating! Michael and I both took the same marketing class in college, and Lauren made me maaaany coffees at Dutch Bros…and Starbucks. Let’s just say I frequented those places…a lot. :) It is SO incredibly beautiful to see these two together and getting MARRIED!
We met up last week for their engagement session right outside Lake Chelan just before sunset where it was almost extra-bright outside and my photography brain went off with a million alarms of “where are we going to shoot!? It has to be perfect! I can’t find a location I like!” And I drove past this vacant field that was seemingly well…boring. Especially to the human eye. But I saw it and saw the light just peeking through the trees and said, “That’s IT!” Most of my clients more than likely think I’m nuts for many reasons, one of which being that I’m sure every single one of them thinks at some point, “We drove all this way for DEAD GRASS!?” But would you just looooook at that light! This is what makes being a wedding photographer SOOOO rewarding!!!
Michael and Lauren, thank you for trusting me and making the trip to Chelan, now let’s get you married…TOMORROW!!! <3 <3 <3 Enjoy this peek into our evening together!
Beautiful photos!! This location in Chelan is amazing and Michael and Lauren are such a stunning couple! Great work Emily Moller Photography, looking forward to seeing more of your blog posts!
